Tungsten carbide wear parts, production

Tungsten carbide wear parts ( TC ) are composed out of a mixture of tungsten carbide grains and cobalt powder, compressed and backed, the components are fused together. Variation in granular structure and grain size give more or less resistant to impact or  abrasion. The tungsten carbide is in general brazed to a (weldable) steel backing.

Standard we supply forged steel backings on our TC parts. The forging has various advantages over machining, the forging process enhances the wear characteristics of the backing being one of the more important.

Both  TC and forgings they are brazed on are  from reputable European production.

TC wear part find are used in places where abrasion and impact have to be dealt with.

Form and grade of the TC are  selected upon the application and same for form and forged backing.  A wide range of standard pick point, for mining, drilling, foundation drilling or drum cutters  can be supplied on short notice. Of course we will guide you with selecting of the proper tool for the job.
